Bloodlines are the dogs in a dogs pedigree. Good bloodlines mean a dog's parents, grand parents, etc. have the characteristics you want in a dog. Not everybody wants the same thing. Too many people focus on how well a dog conforms to its breed standard. Health, temperament, and ability to do the job the breed was meant for get lost. A dog with many field trial champions in its pedigree may be too high energy for other things. So 2 different people could have very different opinions about the bloodlines of a dog. If somebody is selling puppies with ''good blood lines'', you may need to ask good for what? You can't count on either show champions or field trial champions making a good pet no matter how ''good'' their bloodlines.
