Why is the goldfinch referred to as sleek as a lizard in the poem the laburnum top by ted hughes?
goldflinch is referred to as sleek as a lizard in the poem as
the laburn tree was very poisionous nd no bird or any animal want
to sit r visit near by only in the montn of september wen all the
poisnous leaves get detached frm the tre den only birds came on
that tree so like in poem goldfinch bird came in very quitely nd
slowly like lizard climb on d wall very quitely....its is compared
becz golfinch came on the tree to protect her egg as she was knwng
dat no animal or bird come on dis tree so dis show d selfishness of
goldfinch.wen d goldfing enter it enters like a lizard
smoothly, watchfully and hastly dats y goldfing is refred to as
sleek lizard.
