Because they like to copy their owners
If a puppy 3 to 4 times a day if a grown dog twice a day
A hamster could be lazy during the day because all hamsters are nocturnal. That means they sleep during the day but are active at night.
I think it all depends on the personality of the German shepherd. Like my dog Zena has always been around alot of dogs since she was just a puppy and since she has come to live with us since. Some dogs are more playful and social than others while some are loners and anti social. Both German shepherds we've owned have been very social so German shepherds could possibly be social butterflies.
they can get mean u have to play with them EVERY day so if u have 1 remember this cause im gettin 1
A while. But German shepherds who are growing should hve two to three cups a day, depending on what your vet says. Their large dogs.
Yes, I do believe they are as I have a short hair. I think that long haired German shepherds are harder to brush and clean because of their long hair.I own a Long Hair German Shepherd, and we do not have to brush her once a day. They seem like they would get muddy and matted, but actually, I have a retriever, and she get's much more mats than my shepherd. We take them to the groomers for a bath with soap and brushing once every couple months, and in between we don't have to brush her.
German Shepherd Dogs are not hyper all the time. If your dog is continually hyper, it is probably underexercised Try taking it for a five mile or more hike every day.
I wouldn't say so. I work for German Shepherd Rescue UK and all of the dogs i have in moult like crazy, despite being brushed every day.
They are active during the night but during the day they preserve their energy. During the night my stick insect sky dives.
There are likely to be strong opinions on both sides of this - my grandmother loves German shepherds and recently got another puppy. The answer is, it depends on you. German shepherds are loyal, dependable, intelligent and athletic, so if you are looking for a hiking companion, a search-and-rescue dog or a high-energy friend to live and play with, a German shepherd could be the right dog for you. However, if you can't go on multiple long walks and runs every day, don't have the time or energy to train a dog that can literally go for hours, or don't want to deal with a reactive and engaging dog that can bark at every passing car/person/animal, then German shepherds may not be for you.
German shepherds eat around 2-3 times a day. They're big dogs and should be fed regularly. When they're puppies you should feed them 2 times a day. Do not overfeed your German shepherd because it can cause weight problems. Always have them on a special diet. I know everything on German shepherds, but I don't own one but I will. Maybe this summer. 2-3 times daily is probably the best solution to feeding your German shepherd.
- An hours walk a day, two hours if you have the time. And agility and obediance courses are good too. - Two good sized meals a day. - Tricks time, to exercise the mind. - Treats - Regular brushing
