^ nonsense! it's clean hair that attracts lice, because lice like to live in a clean environment and can't really cling onto greasy hair. my only advice is to keep your hair tied back and to use a nit repelent spray (don't worry it doesn't smell nasty) and it will usually stop lice from crawling onto your head from other people's heads, they'll think "eeee. i don't like that. stuff this I'm off" and will go somewhere else. and also keep your head and hair away from other people. hope i helped.
