Yes if they take them out of the wild, but no if they breed them in captivity. But it is a very cruel practice.
Note the spelling of extinction
60-100 million animals die a year due to animal testing..... :(
I do no know but I think it wil matter on the animal.
millions of animals are being kiled each year and mainly for silly things such as make up we take animal testing for granted and we become greedy!!
No! Animals lose their home due to the building of any new buildings. For an example, if a forest had to be destroyed in order to make the animal testing lab, some animals did lose their homes. But this can apply to any new constuction projects.
To make sure they are safe for the use of humans. Animal testing should be stopped!! Hope this helps
animal testing is made to make sure a product is safe. these products may be makeup, shampoo, medicine, vaccines, and even transplants believe it or not. i was doing an article/ speech on animal testing and found out that at least around 15% of animals are used to test products.
I don't think animal testing will stop for a long time. They will use hairspray or something of the sort and spray it in rabbits' eyes to make sure it won't affect a humans' eyes. Unfortunately, not many people understand the dangers of animal testing. And your question should have been worded differently, because the way you worded it, made it sound like you are someone who tests on animals. STOP ANIMAL TESTING NOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, some animals survive. Though people may think it wrong to use animals in testing, would you rather people die? Most animals survive, with rashes or scars, but some do not. Some are euthanized after the experiments. But, animal testing is not just for medical reasons. Some are done for make ups and cosmetics. Why risk blindness to a rabbit just to get a sensible mascara? It just isn't right.
I'm not sure animal testing really affects anything. I know that some companies test their products on animals, like deodorant, perfume, makeup etc. They do that to make sure it is safe to use on humans. It is inhumane!!! They need to stop. These companies test on animals. Please stop buying their products until they stop testing.:
There are pro's and cons to animal testing. It can help discover life saving treatments for humans and other animals. However, it is sometimes said that animal testing is inhumane because the animals are in pain, or are not taken care of. However, there are government standards on research labs. The animals do not feel pain, and even though they may die eventually, they often live as long as a normal household pet.
Animals should not be tested on when it comes to cosmetic products. Unlike the previous person who answered, they clearly failed to recognize that you were asking about make-up products, and not about medicine. Testing for cosmetic reasons does not "save human lives." There are different methods of testing products to determine whether they are safe for use by humans, and animal testing is the inhumane way to do it. Since there are several make-up brands which do not test on animals, it is clear that animal testing for cosmetic purposes is completely cruel and unnecessary.
For 2000 years animal have been tested on. Recently, most has stopped thanks to animal rights activists. Many meat eaters are against cosmetic testing. To set standards around this issue the animal welfare act was made. It made standards for the care of laboratory animals and all others. To make sure they were following the rules, they had random inspections of the laboratories. Sometimes they have to use drugs and painkillers for the animals. It says for the researchers to actually see if animal testing is necessary. When animal testing is discussed we need to know if the benefit of humans is worth the pain to the animals. We don't need makeup unlike medicine that saves people's lives. The fda answers this. While it is not necessary many companies use animal testing for their research.
