Animal experimentation is a moral issue because many people believe that harming and even killing animals for our own benefit is wrong. However, others believe that things like cosmetics and medicines should be tested on animals first before humans start to use them in case they are lethal.

As far as I know Islam does not mention anything regarding testing on animals.
Hindus have diverse views on animal testing, influenced by various interpretations of their beliefs. Some may agree with it if they believe it contributes to human welfare and the advancement of medicine, viewing it as a means to save human lives. Others, particularly those who hold strong views on ahimsa (non-violence), may oppose animal testing, arguing that it inflicts unnecessary suffering on living beings. Thus, opinions on animal testing among Hindus can vary widely based on individual beliefs and values.
Well sometimes we have to kill the animal to get the things we need to test but most of the time we don't kill them. It's not great when we have to kill the animal as we have wasted some of its life
Ryan Wilson was one of six men to suffer serious complications in a drug trial, which forced him to have some of his toes and fingers amputated. The drugs he was testing were tested first on animals, but in the aftermath he believes that the animal testing was not enough to proceed to testing on humans.

Animal rights are protected in Jewish law. In fact, the Jewish dietary laws are built on a foundation of animal rights.
There is no homogenized view among liberals with regards to animal rights. However, liberals tend to be more welcoming of animal rights groups than conservatives.
