Yes, a common misconception is that all slave owners were cruel. That is just simply not the case.
This is the one I learned that slave owners would say "Blacks are animals, you don't treat animals the same way you treat humans," I just can't even comprehend how immoral and cruel slave owners were.

They ranged from the incredibly calouth throught o cruel through to reasonaby humane, What ever they were like they were thieves.
Slave owners are people who own the rights of the labor of another person, and can hold total dominion over their lives. There were slave owners all across the globe and in all ages of human history. Slave owners were Black, White, Asian, Native American, Arab, etc...All races have been slaves and slave owners.

First of all, you can't "practice" homosexuality. It's a natural sexual orientation. Second, many slave owners had sexual relations with their slaves, and it's quite probable that some of those slave owners were gay.
