Depends.

With all veterinary care there's an judgement call - can this animal be saved - and given a decent life - at a reasonable effort by the humans, and a tolerable amount of pain and discomfort for the animal.

If the answer is yes, it will be treated. If the answer is no, it will be humanely euthanized.

For something like a feral cat who freaks at human touch, anything involving frequent dressing Changes or rehab work really isn't doable.

While the same kind of injury to a friendly dog is easily manageable.
