When textiles are thrown away, they often end up in landfills, where they can take years to decompose, contributing to environmental pollution. Many textiles contain synthetic fibers that do not biodegrade, releasing harmful chemicals into the soil and water. Additionally, discarded clothing can lead to the loss of valuable resources, as the production of new textiles consumes water, energy, and raw materials. To mitigate these impacts, recycling and repurposing textiles is encouraged, promoting a more sustainable approach to fashion and waste management.

I would think that they would send it back to your house because they cannot throw it away. If they did throw it away there could be money in there and it would be a waste. But still, this is not for certain.
