Animal testing is much easier but not really better. By testing on animals, if the product is harmful or malfunctions, the problem will come to the manufacturer's attention without harming a customer. For example, say you tested a body lotion on a mole or rat. If it irritates the skin, the problem can be revised without losing money or buyers. If it was tested on humans, it could give them rashes, allergic reactions, injuries, diseases, or perhaps even mutation or death. However, many people argue that it isn't fair to hurt our furry friends because the company made a safety error when producing the product.
millions of lives are saved by animal testing
no, animal testing is a major part of science - it helps save millions of human lives every year.
It sometimes helps make sure that products are safe for humans, but it is not always worth it to give animal lives just to make sure that human lives are not in any danger.
The Human animal
No, but it helps scientists become closer to finding a cure. They test on animals to test if their cure works. It is done to spare human lives.
louse
a cheetah lives in the African grasslands
im not sure but alot of ANIMAL lives are lost due to this. it harms the animals a lot more as they are smaller and more 'fragile'
Animal Testing is WRONG. Think of all the suffering animals lives being torn apart for no apparent reason. It may help to cure cancer, but innocent lives are being taken just to try and experimEnt. Is it wrong? Yes. Help rebell against animal testing! animals are put through torture, so stop animal testing!
It is easier to cut certain objects.
This is a topic of debate within Judaism, but generally, Jewish people opose animal testing, except in cases where it might save lives (and even then, there is a growing opposition to it).
While the opposition's claim is true that animal testing harms animals, the lifesaving medicines that have been discovered have saved human lives. :) -Apex-
