Why should animal cruelty should be stopped?

I believe animal cruelty should be stopped because there is no reason for those poor animals to suffer what they are going through. It is absolutely appalling that these animals must suffer daily beatings, which are, most of the time, for things they didn't even do. These people who treat animals like that shouldn't be aloud to have pets in the first place.

Animal cruelty should be solved because it is simply wrong to do. I know that lots of people say this kind of stuff, but imagine you were one of those animals being locked in cages or being stabbed with spears. Bull-fighting is one of the worst forms of animal cruelty, even though it isn't "legally" titled animal cruelty. At rodeos, sometimes they do bull-fights. People do it because of tradition or fun. What they do is they drug the bull so it'll run around a lot more. Then they stab the bull with spears until it dies. I actually saw a video of some people who stabbed the bull, and then cut of its ear! Then they stuck the spear into his head and moved it around inside, just to make it more painful. Imagine how you would handle that. Bull-fighting isn't the only bad thing, though. There are many more. You could help a little by buying cage-free meat (meaning that when the animal was alive it wasn't stuck in a cage.) It's a bit more expensive, but who cares if it's good for the animals. Right?
