About the 7 deadly sins:

First there is not written in all of our Fathers word any mention of 7 deadly sins. To understand sin you must understand that flesh is a temporary body and that the soul has two bodies in which it can reside (Paul explains this in his first letter to the Corinthians, 15th chapter). The second thing you must understand is that this earth eon (age) is the 2nd of 3, which Peter explains in 2nd Peter Chapter 3. Finally you must understand that ANY Sin which is written next to your name in the book of life, can be deadly to your soul (Revelation 20), as you are judged according to your works and what is written in the book of life next to your name, which includes any sins which are not forgiven by Christ.

Who are the philosophia and what is Philosophy

That said, the question included a second part which was how does Philosophia doctrine interpret the 7 deadly sins. This is an interesting question which is answered by the Apostle Paul in Colossians chapter 2. There Paul writes this quote:

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."

The reason this is interesting is because Paul had engaged the believers in philosophia doctrine while in Athens. The account is document in the book of Acts, chapter 15. Therefore Paul was very aware of the beliefs of the philosophia and their use of dialectics and metaphysics as a means to determine truth and portray to others their possession of great wisdom and insight.

Paul often engaged the various sects of the philosophia believers which included the Epicureans, Stoicks and the Sophists. In Paul's time the Sophists had assumed the role public teacher and were often sought out to educate those who wished to move into position of power and wealth in the societies of Greece and Rome. Paul found the following of philosophia doctrine to gain wisdom to be a fools folly, that is why he gave the warning concerning philosophia doctrine in the 2nd chapter of Colossians. Paul only uses the word philosophia in two places in all of biblical text, one is Acts chapter 15 and the other Colossians chapter 2.

Philosophia doctrine (called philosophy today) is the base doctrine used by the likes of Hegel and his students (Bauer, Feuerbach, Sterner, Marx & Engels) as well as folks such as Darwin and George B Shaw. The systems known as progressivism, socialism and communism find their basis in philosophia doctrine (dialectics and metaphysics). Philosophia doctrine is that doctrine which was given to Aristotle as is supposed, by the oracle of delphi. Philosophia doctrine is the basis doctrine for all those who lived in Athens and is directly tied to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom for which the city was named, athena.

If you want a philosophia interpretation of biblical text, read any work which claims to be "Liberation Theology", as Liberation Theology is the application of dialectics and metaphysics onto biblical text, which is exactly what the Apostle Paul warned against.

A longer than normal answer, no doubt, however I felt it important to answer this from Paul's perspective with some history so people did not lose focus on who the philosophia actually are and why Paul was concerned about them effecting Christian doctrine.

Why did the gods wipe out humanity?

In many mythologies, gods wiped out humanity due to their wickedness, immorality, or lack of reverence towards the divine. The flood myth in various cultures, like the story of Noah's Ark, is one such example where humanity was punished for its sins by a catastrophic flood.

How can you talk in tongues?

You can't just "talk in tongues" as such an act is a gift from God. Most of the Pentecost Faith believe that you must speak in tongues in order to be saved. This occurs when you repent of your sins and give yourself entirely over to the Holy Ghost and God speaks through you.Well, where does tongues come from? It comes from Heaven! Tongues is the heavenly language. It is what is spoken in heaven; the only difference is that the people in heaven understand what they are saying. Here on earth Paul says, "For anyone who speaks in tongues does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understand him; he utters mysteries with his spirit"Also notable is:When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4).I must add, there may be many out there that doesn't believe in such things as "speaking in tongues", but it is an honor and a Gift from God. I have been blessed with this and I have to stay that anyone who believes, but has not experienced it, will have a most wonderful and divine experience when they do.
