A child deprived of basic human contact may struggle to develop emotional attachments, social skills, and language abilities. They may experience difficulties forming relationships and regulating emotions later in life, which can impact their overall well-being and mental health. Intensive therapy and intervention are often needed to support their emotional and social development.
