"Caucasian" is a scientific name for white people. The traditional terms for the different races divided them into three groups: Caucasians (whites), Negroids (blacks) and Mongoloids (Asians).
Some would argue that three main categories is not sufficient to classify the racial diversity of humanity. A newer model, developed by a man named Carleton S. Coon, split humans into five races: Caucasoid, Congoid, Capoid, Mongoloid, and Australoid.

Yes. Germans are considered white and Caucasian.
Individuals of Caucasian descent typically have light skin, straight or wavy hair, and a variety of eye colors. They may also have a prominent nose bridge and narrow facial features. Additionally, Caucasians are more likely to develop conditions such as skin cancer due to their lighter skin pigmentation.
Probably more like Asians The theory goes that human life (homosapien ) started in Central Africa somewhere and worked its way up from there throught the area around the Mediterranean and then east into Asia. However there existed at the time another human like race (neanderthal) and there was some genetic mixing between the two at the time that they coexisted in the same area. In any case neanderthal went extinct but left traces of its DNA in the homosapiens that moved east. Which indicates that Asians and Europeans are part neanderthal and Africans are more likely to be pure homosapien.
Although generally somewhat darker in skin color than northern Europeans, Italians have been included among the "Whites" when such racist designations were an important part of the social structure.
Race is considered to be a cultural construct. Most anthropologists consider all variations of humans not to be distinctive enough to be considered a different species. All modern humans are Homo sapiens .
There is no patron saint of caucasians.
caucasians are just white people.
I am a Caucasian, and I have faced prejudice from non-Caucasians a few times, so I can safely assume that other Caucasians have faced some sort of prejudice as well. In my case, I think it was "revenge" for the prejudice of Caucasians in the past.
