one interesting holliday they cellebrated whas Samhain (what now is Know as Halloween) this was around 30 oktober and it was the Celtic new year they believd that at this day the wall between the spirit realm and the the normal world was smaller so the spirits could get into the normal world. they put candels infromt of the window so that the sprits of loved ons could find their way home, they also had an room whit a table full of food and the hole day no one of the living was alowd in the room it was just for the spirits. Also dressing up scary had a purpes that was tho scare the evil spirits away but i don't think they dressed them self up but it was more in a was that they hang scary masks by the door. Why it is now mainly cellebrated in America is probably bcaus when the potato harvest was gone bad the irsh took it to the new world and there it grew bigger.
