What is a chinumpa?

A Chinumpa is a traditional peace pipe used by the Lakota Indians. It is usually involved with the enepea ceremony, better know in english as a sweatlodge. The Chinumpa usually is used to smoked blessed tobacco, white sage, and certain cedar leaves.
