Anthropology is the study of cultures and what their community structure means to them. Geography is the study of the layout of the world (land characteristics such as where plateaus, rivers, mountain ranges) and how we label these phenomena. The thing in common of these two is knowing who are the inhabitants of these different areas, but Anthropology goes deeper to understand the people and why they do what they do.
Anthropology is a holistic discipline. There are branches like biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, prehistoric archeology, linguistic anthropology and the fifth one can be applied anthropology. Anthropology is the best stream to know completely about mankind.
Social or Cultural Anthropology Is the branch of anthropology concerned with the study of human societies and cultures and their development.
The two types of anthropology are following: 1: Physical and Biological anthropology. 2: Socio and cultural anthropology.
