The Bible doesn't get into the physical make-up of mankind. It simply states that man was formed from the ground - clay if you will, which I believe many in science would agree is the basis for our bodies (of course with water). It states further that the female was made from the man's rib - hence the term 'woman' and the two sexes.

The physical design, internal structures and bio-chemistry is there for man to discover. IMHO, perhaps DNA will one day conclude the need of a Creator and lay to rest the ideas of evolution as man's alternative to One.

According to The Bible, humans are composed of body, soul, and spirit. The body is the physical aspect that houses the soul and spirit. The soul includes the mind, emotions, and will, while the spirit is the part that connects with God.
