4 degrees btc-before top dead center with the vacuum spark line disconnected.the timing mark location is on the harmonic balancer. this is for a 327 engine
assuming the crank is out, cool it in the freezer and warm the balancer ,the balancer should slip on. be careful ! I have not done this with a crank and balancer, but it works well in other applications. ie.sleeves in blocks.
To remove the rear seat from a 1967 Chevy Nova, start by locating the seat bottom clips or bolts, usually found at the front edge of the seat. Pull up on the seat bottom to disengage it from the clips or remove the bolts if applicable. Once the bottom is removed, the seatback can be unbolted from the rear or sides, depending on your model. Finally, lift the seatback upwards to remove it from the vehicle.
