The Reliant Robin is a small three-wheeled British car with a fibreglass body, that was built by the Reliant Motor Company of Tamworth, in the English Midlands. Introduced in early 1973, they had 850cc 4-cylinder engines and were available as hatchback and estate versions- they replaced the earlier series of Reliant 3-wheelers known as the Regal, which were introduced in the mid-'60s and came as saloons, estates and van variants. Production ended of the first series in 1981, but a new version- the Rialto (which looked a bit like a three-wheeled Austin Metro)- was launched in 1989. Production finally ended in 2001; the last 65 cars to be built were special limited editions.
