In the Medieval times, most people living in castles were servants or vassals who worked for the lord in exchange for protection and land. They did not receive a regular salary like modern workers. Instead, they were provided with food, shelter, and other necessities.
People chose to live together in Neolithic settlements for several reasons. One major reason was for safety and security from external threats. Living together in close proximity allowed for communal defense against predators and rival groups. Additionally, living together facilitated the sharing of resources and knowledge, which was essential for survival and the development of early agricultural practices.
Stone Age people lived in a variety of environments, including caves, rock shelters, and open-air settlements. They were nomadic hunter-gatherers, living in locations where they could easily access food sources such as game animals, fish, fruits, and plants. Their settlements could be found across the globe, from Africa to Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania.
The most important job for Paleolithic people was likely hunting and gathering food for survival. This required coordination, skill, and knowledge of the environment to secure resources for sustenance.
