On the right hand side of your watch is a small knob. Pull gently on this knob. It should pull out to 2 different positions. The first position sets the date; the second sets the time. Move the knob and the time will change.

Is carbon dating the amount of radium in a fossil?

No, carbon dating is the amount of an isotope of carbon in a fossil, Carbon 14. The amount of Carbon 14 is predictable over a time line, and the area of the time line the amount of C14 that occurs in that fossil will be a fairly accurate indication of it's approzimate age.

What factor reduces the accuracy radiocarbon dating?

Atmospheric carbon-14 levels change over time

How can islands change over time?

Islands can change over time due to natural processes like erosion, volcanic activity, and sea level rise. The fossil record is not complete because?

The fossil record of all species is not complete because the circumstances for fossils to occur is very rare. There must be a special type of sediment, a special type of death (not partially eaten). Therefore, not all species or mutations can be accounted for, however, there are documented fossils for most species or at least close relations

How do underground caves change over time?

Why do so many questioners add the adjective "underground"? If they are "active" passages, i.e. still carrying their formative streams, they slowly enlarge. "Fossil", or "abandoned" passages (left after the stream has found another course or disappeared altogether) can accumulate large deposits of calcite formations (stalactites etc) but in time start to decay as percolating water weakens the rock above the roof. In time, sub-aeriel weathering removes the surrounding hill-side and the cave itself is destroyed with it.
