There are many theories regarding how the pyramids were built.
The most likely explanation is that a giant ramp snaked around the pyramid and this allowed the blocks to be rolled up the slope. Alternatively, some people believe that the blocks were raised using a lever system.
There are slightly more outlandish ideas which say that aliens brought cranes from space to lift the blocks, and recently, it has been suggested that the 2-ton blocks of stone were tied to kites and that the block were lifted in this manner.
Some theories suggest that large ramps were used to transport and lift the massive stones into place during construction. Others propose the use of levers, counterweights, and even simple machines like pulleys to move and position the stones. Some researchers also argue that ancient Egyptians may have used a combination of techniques, manpower, and innovation to build the pyramids.
Thousands of Mayan pyramids were built throughout Mesoamerica, especially in present-day Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador. Some famous archaeological sites with Mayan pyramids include Tikal in Guatemala, Chichen Itza in Mexico, and Copan in Honduras.

Numerous pyramids have been built at different moments in time and in different places. The Great Pyramids at Giza, which are the most famous Egyptian pyramids, are built near to the modern city of Giza on the west bank of the Nile River. Numerous Nubian pyramids were built in southern Egypt. There are Mayan pyramids in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize, and numerous other pyramids (such as the Pyramid at the Louvre in Paris).the built the pyramids in EgyptP
The pyramids of the Maya, Aztec, and Inca were primarily built for religious and ceremonial purposes, such as worshipping their gods, performing rituals, and connecting with the spiritual world. They also served as symbols of political power and societal hierarchy. Furthermore, some pyramids were used for astronomical observations and as tombs for rulers and nobles.
Most Egyptologists accept that the pyramids were all built by members of one family; 4th dynasty rulers. Khufu built the first of the pyramids, the Great Pyramid, his son Kafre built a second one (as well as possibly the Spinx), and Kafre's son Menkaure built the third. There are more esoteric theories that space aliens built the pyramids, or that survivors of the doomed Mediterranean civilization of Atlantis built them. However, these theories are largely rejected, and have the added disadvantage of being largely motivated by prejudice, and the accompanying belief that an ancient African civilization could not possibly be responsible for building one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
There are many theories and they are still debated today. The link below will give you further information.
