The commonly accepted theory is that they painted animals in order to help hunters on the hunt. This would work something along the lines of "capturing" the "spirit" or "essence" of the animal in a painting which would allow the hunter to capture the real physical animal when he goes on his hunt. If this was truly the case then it could be argued that they didn't paint humans because there was some taboo against capturing a human's essence or spirit. In some modern day primitive tribes, when they first saw cameras they thought that the photographs might capture or steal their souls, its likely that the prehistoric people thought that painted images of a person might do something similar. I personally don't know if this is the reason but its the best theory I can come up with!
Francisco Pizarro's primary reason for exploration was to seek wealth and resources in the New World, particularly the legendary riches of the Inca Empire in South America. He aimed to conquer territory, establish settlements, and exploit indigenous people for their labor and treasures.
The main reason for the expedition was to explore and discover new lands, resources, and trade routes. It was also driven by a desire for wealth, power, and prestige for the sponsoring country or organization.
Ötzi, the iceman, likely died from an arrow wound. It is believed that he was shot by a hunter or involved in a conflict, as the arrowhead was found in his shoulder. The exact reason for the shooting remains unknown due to the lack of historical records from that time.
Around 115 colonists disappeared from the Roanoke colony in the late 16th century. The reason for their disappearance remains a mystery, with theories ranging from assimilation into local Native American tribes to attacks by other European colonists.
Questions about cars seem to be the category most people need or want answered. Almost everybody has a car, and cars need repair -- hence, the reason for the questions.
Have you tried answering unanswered questions? The only reason that I can think of that you wouldn't be able to answer unanswered ones is that you were blocked. You might want to try writing to support and seeing if they can tell you what the status of your account is.
The single greatest reason for unanswered questions is that the questions have not been phrased or spelled correctly. Whenever possible, users should correct the spelling and grammar of questions (except SPELLING questions, which are often phonetic and should not be corrected). It is very common to find questions answered multiple times (right or wrong) in several different forms of incorrect grammar or spelling. An unanswered simple question is very likely to have been answered already in its correct form.
No, The reason might be that there are alot of unanswered questions last time I checked over 8,000,000,000 Unanswered questions. And there is only over 2,000,000,000 Contributors not including the unregistered users. So it will take time but your answer will get answered sooner or later.
the reason this question is unanswered iz becasuse noone knows the question
The main reason that questions go unanswered on this site is, there are so many questions coming in so fast, your question gets pushed down the list rapidly. The people that answer the questions start at the top, for the most part. If you do not receive an answer within a few minutes, resend your question. Send it as many times as you have to, until it gets answered. Good luck.
unanswered
The reason most questions on WikiAnswers are unanswered is because there just aren't enough people willing to answer. We have a team of over 500 volunteer Supervisors who are constantly checking the site, and will answer from time-to-time when they are not busy. But other than that, we have to rely on the knowledge of our wonderful Contributors that have made WikiAnswers what it is today. We have recently calculated that if every registered user on WikiAnswers answered just three questions then all of our questions would become answered! Amazingly we are heading that way slowly but surely. Aside from that, people ask hard to read questions, or are not specific enough. One unspecific question is: Is a gerbil better than a hamster? Well, in what way? Cleaning its fur? Eating? Dressing in drag and doing the hula?
In "Edward, Edward," there are unanswered questions about the reason for the father wanting to kill his son, Edward. The ballad does not provide a clear explanation for this violent act, leaving readers to speculate on the motivations behind the father's actions. Additionally, the ballad does not reveal Edward's thoughts or feelings towards his father, leaving the nature of their relationship open to interpretation.

There are many, many, many people that answer questions on WikiAnswers. The only reason why it seems that not very many people are answering questions is because there are questions being submitted almost every 5 seconds.
There are hundreds of thousands of questions that are unanswered. The reason for this is that there are not thousands of contributors who are taking the time to answer a hundred questions apiece. As a result, people answer the questions that they see, not every single question. Additionally, some categories are better monitored than other. Finally, some questions ask for obscure or difficult information to find, so people prefer to leave those for other people. Of course, you could also be part of the solution. Please, spend some time and diligently and correctly answer questions to bring the backlog back into balance. Secondly, just because our motto is to "Ask Us Anything", that doesn't mean that we as a community are always knowledgeable enough to answer the question.
