The hero is often but not always found in humble circumstances
The Call to AdventureThe call to adventure is the point in a person's life when they are first given notice that everything is going to change, whether they know it or not.Refusal of the CallOften when the call is given, the future hero refuses to heed it. This may be from a sense of duty or obligation, fear, insecurity, a sense of inadequacy, or any of a range of reasons that work to hold the person in his or her current circumstances.Supernatural AidOnce the hero has committed to the quest, consciously or unconsciously, his or her guide and magical helper appears, or becomes known. The Crossing of the First ThresholdThis is the point where the person actually crosses into the field of adventure, leaving the known limits of his or her world and venturing into an unknown and dangerous realm where the rules and limits are not known. The Belly of the WhaleThe belly of the whale represents the final separation from the hero's known world and self. It is sometimes described as the person's lowest point, but it is actually the point when the person is between or transitioning between worlds and selves. The separation has been made, or is being made, or being fully recognized between the old world and old self and the potential for a new world/self. The experiences that will shape the new world and self will begin shortly, or may be beginning with this experience which is often symbolized by something dark, unknown and frightening. By entering this stage, the person shows their willingness to undergo a metamorphosis, to die to him or herself.
Idols.
That would be an archaeologist.
A Caver. One who studies caves & their contents scientifically is a Speleologist - though many still call themselves cavers out of modesty, and use "speleology" to describe the science! Some Answer-ers would reply "spelunker" - a word I have never seen in caving literature. From Wikipedia at least, although the word was coined from a mixture of Latin and Greek by an American caving club in the 1940s, but not adopted outside of the US, it started to become derogatory in the 1960s, according to American cavers.

what is thor call to adventure
In the novel "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan, the call to adventure for Percy Jackson is when he discovers that he is a demigod, the son of Poseidon, and is accused of stealing Zeus' lightning bolt. This sets him on a quest to clear his name and prevent a war among the gods. The call to adventure propels Percy into a world of Greek mythology and challenges him to embrace his destiny as a hero.
It could be an 'Epic' adventure. It could also be a quest, a journey, a sojourn, a venture, an undertaking, an 'exciting experience', etc.
The myths were the religion of Greeks and Romans. We call them myths, because we do not believe in them.
