The front axle on the 90 GMC K2500 is actuated by a switch on the top of the transfer case. You will find it on the top, driver's side, with a 2-wire connector on it. The best price I have found on this part is from the GM garage (about $25.00). It is 2-3 times that price at the AutoZone type places.
Yes. Look in the yellow pages for aftermarket a/c's
It's a 12 V system, meaning that the alternator produces somewhere around 14.5 VDC during normal operation. Most modern ignition systems produce somewhere around 50K volt sparks.
Chances are you have a bad wire or plug causing it ; It is easy for a weak plug or wire to hit without a load ,so if it is time for a tune-up I would replace the wire set and plugs. Check your cap and rotor also. I hope this helps you. Mark Mark thanks for the help. New wires did the trick. Truck runs great. Thanks again!!!!
1) If fuel tank is full you will need to siphon fuel out 2) Remove any type of skid plate or cover from fuel tank. 3) Disconnect fuel fill tube, wiring harness, and fuel lines from fuel tank. 4) Support fuel tank and remove hold down bolts(or nuts) for fuel tank strap. 5) Lower fuel tank to ground. NOTE: You may need to remove driveline on some vehicles to have room to get tank out. 6) Use brass punch to unscrew fuel pump locking plate on top of fuel tank. 7)Remove and replace fuel pump from tank and reassemble everything the same way you took it apart.
On the front axle, passengers side of carrier housing.
A 1994 does not have a control module on the transfer case. But it does have a 4x4 Actuator on the front differential.
