fuse box will be in or under the glove box and the fuse will be blow stopping dash lights from coming on .

This may not be true for all makes of cars, but some basic dashboards are made using the process of injection molding in which the entire dashboard is molded in one piece. The lights, radio, glove compartment, etc. are added at the factory producing the vehicle.

Underneath the glove compartment. By that, I mean you have to pull out the plastic lining in the glove compartment. Stupid, huh?
underneath the glove compartment you will need to remove the compartment and the fuse box is located behind it
You didn't mention the year of the Buick but, look in the glove compartment for the oil life reset switch.
