Aboriginal art originated from Australia from the people called the Aborigines (original inhabitants of Australia). Aboriginal art has existed for many thousands of years. Some of the rock carvings and aboriginal paintings are 30,000 years old. These paintings and carvings narrate the stories of the painter or sculptor. Lots of dots are used and also Earthy colours such as reds, browns and yellows.
