Wyland art is a horrible investment. They say that the value is always going up but if you look on eBay you see plenty of listings with high prices but rarely to any of them sell. I've had many art dealers laugh me off as 'mass produced crap' among other various negative comments. I have two originals and I'd be EXTREMELY lucky to even pull down half of the price I paid for them. Lithographs and giclees on the other hand are even worse. They are even more mass produced and available on the market. If you're looking for a LONG term investment and you are young and have time for him to die off, then maybe you might see some value in the very distant future. Another thing about Wyland is they string you in by saying that their prices are currently at 50% off for whatever sale. Funny, it's been that way for about ten years now. Do yourself a favor and find a dead artist with even a partial name to invest into. They're not making any more art, so the value is more likely to rise.
