"Sandy" was written by Louis St. Louis and Scott Simon. It's one of four songs written for the 1978 movie version of the show. Since then it's been used in some but not all stage revivals of the show. The other songs written for the movie were "Grease," by Barry Gibb, and two by John Farrar, "Hopelessly Devoted to You," and "You're the One That I Want."
