They are practically the same. I paint with fabric paints most times actually
Once the paint is dry, it shouldn't smudge or run, if it did, the paint wasn't dry. (Fabric Paint, is just like enamel paint, it just has extra ingredients in the paint so it can be washed)
No It don't work...just threw away 50 dollars... psss best fabric paint to use on boots is the spray kind....
It is very easy to apply fabric paint to fabric. It can be done directly out of most fabric paint tubes, as they usually come with pointed tops for easy application. It can also be used by pouring it into a dish and using a sponge to apply it to the fabric. Some people use different shaped sponges, like squares, stars, leaf shapes to stamp the paint on. You can also use a standard paint brush.
You can decorate with fabric paint on fake patent shoes. Most store like Waltmart, Zellers etc... have a section on fabric paint, it comes in tube or bottle and once dried it will not come off.
If it is fabric paint by Tulip (aka Puffy Paint) then no. Wash away and stilll expect the glow!!
Puffy paint is designed to decorate fabric, so it is hard to get it out of fabrics. If you get it on your clothes while crafting, immediately wipe it off with a clean, dry paper towel, and then rinse it until the paint is gone. Once the paint is dried you may not be able to get the stain out, start by peeling off the puffy-part, then pretreat the stain and wash.

Oh, what a lovely question! Puffy paint is generally non-toxic, but it's always best to check the label or contact the manufacturer to be sure. Remember, it's important to use any art supplies in a well-ventilated area and avoid ingesting them. Keep creating your beautiful art, my friend!

It's perfectly safe to add your own touch to fabric window coverings by painting them with fabric paint. You can purchase fabric paint at any craft store.

I don't see why not, many Fabric Paints are Acrylic, which means the're water based, I think there is an oil based Fabric Paint, which ever you deside to use, when and/or if you deside to put a finish coat on your project, make sure you use a water based finish with a water based fabric paint and an oil based finish with a oil based fabric paint. The only difference between Fabric Paint and Regular Paint is the fabric paint has an ingredient in it to make it washable.
