I do not know if this will be very useful for yoru purposes, as I don't know Delaware property law very well, but here are some related facts: Liberated minors, or people under 18 who qualify to live without a guardian, can rent properties in some, maybe all states. Generally, a minor cannot be subject to contracts and cannot be eligable for the financing for rental leases. Furthermore, it would be a rare renter that would accept a minor leasee except under the most pristine circumstances.
