I use a 75/25% mixture of Alcohol & Vinegar in a spray bottle. Very cheap & effective. I use crumpled up newspapers to clean with. Use LOTS of dry newspaper and keep turning it. The slight abrasiveness of the newspaper will cut through most grime. CAUTION: If you have had a tint applied to the inside of your glass, do not use this procedure on the inside. Do not use any Ammonia or Alcohol based cleaner on window tint. A very mild detergent in water will suffice.
