∙ 14y agoIt depends what part of the bady is having the scan. If you are having a scan of your abdominal area, the doctor may prefer you to be without food or drink prior to the scan. This would be told to you when the appointment is made. Scans of the limbs, chest or brain would be unaffected by coffee.
