It all depends on exactly what the problems arising from your particular condition are.
I my particular case and I have had some trouble with it for over 50 years I have always managed to keep working. and a lot of the work I was involved in was in the building industry and involved strength and physical work. Last year I was forced to have my right elbow replaced, so I have been forced to take it easy on the right arm. However with the medicines and treatments available today and sometimes a little will power, I have been able to keep on working even at my present age of 62. There is no point complaining I always say, no one listens anyway.

∙ 11y agoRheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that starts of by your own immune system causing damage to your joint and at times other parts of your body. If you have damaged joints as a result of this then it would be fair to assume that joints would be les capable of handling injury., however it would not worsen the actual condition"rheumatoid Arthritis".

∙ 12y agoIt all depends upon which military you mean, what job you fill there and to what degree the illness effect your performance. Needless to say if you have RA and have any disability as a result you might find that the selectors that let you join will tend to not let you join for fear of your condition becoming a problem in the future.
