Begin by removing the decorative radio retaining cover. Remove the retaining bolts. The radio will slide out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the radio.
Drivers side you neec to remove the battery, meaning reset radio/clock etc after. Passenger side should be accessible. Cheers, J.

you just have to get out the 2 black bolt at the bottom of the radio "rack"... there is only 2 black bolt to remove... at the bottom... thx
I had a very similar problem on my 95 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme. After hours of pain staking work I finally found that a wire was loose. The wire is coated red and is beneath the fuse box on the drivers side directly behind the windshield wash tank. There is an eyelet on the end of the wire and one screw holding it in place directly under the fuse box. As soon as I tightened the screw my problem went away.
You remove the old radio and put a new radio in its place. A vague question gets a vague answer.
Pull off the wood grain trim bezzel then there are 4 7mm screws. Slide radio out and disconnect 3 wire plugs.
