Hi, Have you tried looking in your owners manual first for the spark plug gap, some owners manuals will say there is an underhood engine specification listing underneath the hood and also to check under your hood to see if its there.
The spark plug gap on an 82-91 xv700 should be .28-.32.
change the light bulb,
See if the battery has water. Then see if it will jump with jumper cables. If it will start with jumper cables, your battery had enough amperage to make the lights work and the radio to play but not enough to start the car.
Look in your owners manual. Instructions are listed.

Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables and boot, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, attach the cables and boots, and connect the battery.
On a 2005 Kia Sedona the coil packs are over the front 3 plugs. Wires go to the rear head.
