Great artists of our time consider themselves graphic artist, because they see things in a proper perspective, they know all the things that are interrelated in so many ways, all we have to do study the basic ways and means to accomplish a work or an artwork in certain purpose. For me graphic design is one of the most abuse word and thoughts that every people should understand before used the word itself. Graphic Design is for me is one the most aggressive word that used by people define a piece work either made by computer or in different medium. But remember graphic design works are made by a graphic designer who able to define elements and building blocks of design who make this a basis of their works. So in order for somebody define their work as a graphic design they should attest themselves that their works are graphically correct. and in order to do this you should learn the techniques and how to come up with a graphically correct design. Learning balance and contrast and so on....which is i believe that being a graphic designer is more than enough for someone to learn all kinds of media in easiest way...

Answerwe can explain the difference between image maps and graphic hyperlink Simply -Graphic Hyperlink - If you will make a hyperlink on a graphic then the link will cover the whole graphic.i.e. if a graphic has different type of information parts and you want to open a new link when clicked it. If you will make a hyperlink on this graphic then the hyperlink will cover the whole graphic, means you can open only one link not more.Image Map - If you will make image maps on a graphic to make hyperlinks then you can make more links on this graphic.
