No, Barack Obabma's presidency is just one step closer to its fulfillment, but has not fulfilled his dream. King dreamed of a nation of equality of freedom, but we are still prisoners. Only it has become worse than it was in his. Back then, it was white against. Now, it's black against black, and white against black, and white against white. you have people of the same bloodline killing each other. mothers freely kill their children and there are more gangs and violence than there was anytime in history. this is not what is not what our ancestors fought for. this is not what King died for. How bad it must hurt to see the people he fought so hard for now fighting against each other? Little black boys killing one another just for a bad look. More teens in jails for crimes against their own race. We have changed, but not for the better. Everything may be desegregated, but we fight a bigger war. Not only have we turned from other races, but from our own. We judge peopel by their economic status, their enviroment. We judge people by what they wear. America, we have become worse than what we were back then, adn it saddens me to think the King died for no reason. It saddens me to see all the killing and robbing and raping that is going on in our country today. No, his dream is far from being fulfilled! The election is a stepping stone but we must remember the true message of King's dream: Freedom. That's what King wanted for every person of every race, and sadly, today, we are from it.
