No. In fact rocket science was just developing in the 1940's and the ability to send a man to the moon didn't exist until the late 1960's. Things like computers are needed, the ability to built a multistage rocket, and other inventions / science had to be developed first.
the moon is black because there is no sun reflecting on it the sun is behind the moon
Gravitational force between Earth - Moon - Sun is the fundamental force behind the tidal motion.
The moon circles the Earth approximately every month. It takes 27.3 days for the moon to make one orbit around our planet. Even though it looks like the moon is moving from East to West, it actually isn't. It's moving from West, to East. If you go outside and find the moon, look at the stars behind it. Go outside the same time the next night and the moon will be noticeably East from where it was the night before. :) That's also why the moon rises almost an hour later each night.
A lunar eclipse can only occur during a full moon because the lunar eclipse causes the Moon to pass directly behind the Earth and into its shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely with the Earth in the middle.
There is a high tide on the side of the Earth that is opposite to the Moon. This is because of the differences in the strength of the Moon's gravity felt at different places on Earth. The water on that far side is subject to a smaller gravitational pull than the center of the Earth and is so is "left behind", forming a tidal bulge. See the "related link" below.
The cast of Moon Nazis - 2012 includes: Sampo Silvennoinen as Moon Nazis
Nobody has landed on the moon.
No. We have been behind the moon and peeked. No aliens.

Moon Base One was created in 1960.
The ISBN of Moon Base One is 0571061338.
Moon Base One has 192 pages.
Some clouds may appear to be behind the moon due to the relative positions of the clouds, the moon, and the observer. When clouds are at different altitudes in the atmosphere, lower clouds can appear to be behind the moon, especially when the moon is low on the horizon. Additionally, atmospheric perspective and the moon's brightness can create the illusion of depth, making it seem as if clouds are positioned behind the moon when they are actually further away.
a footprint
The sun can sometimes be behind the moon, it depends on where the moon, earth and sun are relative to each other.
no of course not
No. The US government, as well as a few other governments are currently trying to figure out how to build a base on the moon though. It would be a better launching platform for deep space missions, and a good location for certain types of scientific experiment.
