Earthworms eat the soil, and excrete what they don't digest - leaving tiny piles of 'worm-poop' in the soil. This breaks down and adds to the general composition of the soil.
No, Earthworms do not drink liquids, they gain the nutrition that's normally found in liquids from soil and other natural sources they EAT.
no... they eat blood worms[dried] or small baby ghost shrimp
Well, since earthworms dont have teeth the have this sack behind the mouth that squezes tightly then contracts over and over. Basicly it chews the food for the worm. Birds do it to but they also hold the chewed food in the gizzard for the baby birds

Leaf litter is eaten by worms -> worm excrement is used by plant -> plant seed is eaten by mouse -> mouse is eaten by owl... Or Leaf litter to worm, worm to bird, bird to owl.
so there's an egg and then a worm and then they eat leaf and then they make silk. easy enough.
maby so. But maby not because a worm doesn't really have a mouth.
That certainly is a strange pet! Mealworms eat decaying leaf litter, dried grass, grain and wood matter.

Yes. The only thing in a food chain that isn't a producer is something that doesn't eat anything. For example, a leaf (the producer) isn't a consumer because it doesn't eat anything else, but a worm is a consumer because it eats the leaf.
It's a fairly small brownish worm that lives in the earth. They eat the soil under us to poop it out and make good new soil (eww)
