THIS IS THE HOLES PER SQUARE IN. IN THE MESH COUNT. HIGHER THE COUNT THE FINER YOUR ARTWORK CAN BE TO PRINT THE DETAIL. NEXT THE SCREEN HAS TO BE COATED WITH A LIGHT SENSITIVE CHEMICAL CALLED EMULSION. MANY FORMS ARE AVAILABLE. THIS MUST BE DONE UNDER A SAFE LIGHT. BECAUSE THE EMULSION IS VERY LIGHT SENSITIVE AND WILL START DEVELOPING WHEN IT IS EXPOSED TO ANY LIGHT SOURCE. NEXT YOU HAVE TO PLACE YOUR ARTWORK ONE FILM AT A TIME IF IT,S MORE THAN ONE COLOR. THE ART HAS TO BE VACUMED DOWN OR HAVE SOMETHING PLACED ON IT TO PRESS THE ART DOWN AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE TO ALLOW THE BEST DETAIL TO EXPOSE. NEXT YOU HAVE TO DETERMINE HOW LONG TO ALLOW THE LIGHT SOURCE YOU USE TO STAY ON TO DEVELOP THE EMULSION. ONCE THIS IS DETERMINED, YOU REMOVE THE ART FROM THE SCREEN AND GO TO A PLACE TO RINSE IT OUT. GARDEN HOSE ETC. WHERE EVER THE ART WAS BLACK, YOUR DRAWING, WILL WASH OUT.
