They make you look slimmer.
Vertical stripes make you appear thinner, horizontal stripes, depending on there width and placement can emphasize your width.
Using tape and a level, place tape on the areas you do not want the stripes to be, and go bananas on the wall. After it dries, remove the tape. Be sure to use the level, as it ensures the stripes are straight.
In my personal opinion, and from what I've observed, it has the same effect as vertical lines, it makes the wearer look thinner but it does not make the wearer look tall or long. But all in all, it usually depends on the posture of the person's body. Slouching on makes it worse, but having a straight and firm posture gives the right effect. I hope I've helped.
How do you draw a baby? You make the person abit fatter and the eyes rounder. And then you should end up with a perfect baby!
just make sure u stay clear from every kellys path or else u will get flattened.i meant it. she is fatter than a monster truck
Black or Lime Green. :D I think Pink and Lime Green because those colours look nice together and you can make your nails look like a lollypop
Black is slimming, but only stripes make one look fatter.
Well, they just make it LOOK smaller. It is an optical illusion or some such thing. Like how horizontal stripes make you look bigger.
They tend to make you look fatter.
No it will make the room look taller. Use dark colors to make the walls appear futher away and bright colors to make the walls closer. Darker= bigger Lighter= smaller
I know black is slimming, but I'd have to say white with purple stripes. Edited Part: I would say stripe going horizontal they make you look bigger, also tight tops will also.
First off, don't wear capris, bc they will make you look shorter. I've read that vnecks elongate, but turtlenecks make you look stumpier. Hope that helps. Avoid clothes with horizontal stripes, and go for ones with vertical stripes. Also try to elongate your torso with a longer shirt. A little heel never hurts either :)
No it doent make you fatter it's a myth!!!
Any dark or darkish color is slimming, but it won't do the job alone. To appear thinner use the style of your clothing rather than depending on dark, perhaps dull colors. For example, clothing with straight up and down lines will make you appear thinner. Either Use A Girdle Or Lose Some Weight Lol Jk But When Yu Wear It Wear Black Clothinq You can also make yourself appear slimmer by your choice of clothing. Darker colors or tones are more slimming than pastels. In addition, if you wear stripes, wear vertical stripes never wear horizontal stripes. Stripes or a pattern that goes around your body will make it appear wider. Also pay attention to your posture. If you slump, you will tend to look dumpy. Straightening up tends to give one an automatic slimming appearance.
It can do but it is all in the mind as you know. The same applies to wallpaper. you hang wallpaper with narrow stripes it will make the room look smaller. hang w/ paper with wide stripes it will make the room look larger.
When you paint a room, white makes the room appear to be larger. Horizontal stripes also make a room appear larger.
Height is determined by genetics, so whatever you might try will not make you shorter to any noticeable degree. All you can really do is wear shoes with very low heals or slouch your shoulders, which is not healthy and makes you look bad. Wearing certain clothing can make you appear shorter, like wearing horizontal stripes instead of vertical stripes.
