Reginald Green ARE (1884-1971)

Reginald Green was a well-known English etcher of landscapes and architectural views. In 1918 Green was made an Associate member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers (A.R.E.). he exhibited three works at the Brook Street Gallery, eight works at Connell and Sons Gallery, one work at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, five works at the Royal Academy, twenty-six works at the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers, one work at the Redfern Gallery and one work at the Royal Hibernian Academy.

Biography: Etcher of landscapes and architectural subjects. Exhibited at the R.A., R.E., R.W.A. and elected A.R.E. 1918. Principal works include The Belfry, Bruges; Evening at Rye and The Tolbooth, Edinburgh. - from Dictionary of British Artists by Grant M. Waters.
