Maybe but i think they have a timing chain. but i could be wrong. i could be pushrod. lust take the valve cover off the to of the wngine and look. and yes it does have a waterpump.
On most engines, the water pump drive belt is also the timing belt.
HI, There are definitely a timing belt and a water pump on the engine. The timing belt is behind the cover that is on the front of the engine and when there you will also find the timing belt tensioner, they come as a set when you purchase them. The water pump is also at the front of the engine and sits at the left of the timing belt cover as you look at the engine, the pump is driven by the belt, you can't miss it. Happy repairing and good luck.Steve H.
The water pump runs on the timing belt. You have to take the timing cover off, remove the belt and then remove the water pump. If you reuse the timing belt, mark the belt with a spot of paint at the camshaft and crankshaft so that you can replace it and have the engine in time. If you need to replace the belt, make sure the engine is at top dead center on the timing mark before you remove the belt.
It's been a while since I worked on a 1G Talon, but I believe the water Pump is located on the serpentine belt. It's the same belt with the crank shaft and alternator. No, you should not remove the timing belt.
Simple answer is yes. The water pump is driven by the timing belt. P.S if you are not sure on how to do this job then pay a reputable workshop. You can bend cylinder head valves if you replace the timing belt incorrectly and then you are talking thousands to repair your car! Steve:-)
Yes, the water pump on a 3.5L is timing belt driven.Yes, the water pump on a 3.5L is timing belt driven.
the water pump is run by the timing belt the water pump is where the timing belt at in the motor
On most engines, the water pump drive belt is also the timing belt.
On some vehicles the water pump is driven by the timing belt.
The water pump is driven by timing belt, so, replace the timing belt while you are replacing water pump, because you have to take off timing belt to get to water pump.
The water pump is under the timing belt cover. The front most pulley the timing belt runs on is the water pump pulley. The water pump is located under the timing belt cover. The front most pulley the timing belt runs on is the water pump.
You do not have to, but if the water pump is timing belt driven it is highly recommended.
If the timing belt drives the water pump you should replace the belt at the same time as the pump.
No, but it can be recommended on a system where the timing belt runs the water pump.
You do not have to change the timing belt to replace the water pump. You do have to remove the timing belt cover to be able to access the bolts that hold the water pump on.
Behind the timing belt. The timing belt drives the water pump with the pump's pulley.
the water pump belt is your timing belt under the timing belt cover
