At present the reason for Arthritis is not yet understood. There is however a school of thought that feels thatexcessive calcium can build up in joints and cause arthritis as a result of a deficiency in magnesium. The body requires magnesium to process calcium into the body. So the problem is not so much too much calcium but to little magnesium.
