marlin made 1993 rifles and 1889 rifles, barrels are about $75 if good, the rifles are about $250 to $500 , all calibers are about equal.

I have seen these rifles advertised for around $200. They were only made for about 3 years back in the 1930s. Very nice little rifles. I shot one, and was amazed at how accurate it was given the rifles age and wear.

These rifles were made from 1924 through 1932 and only about 21,000 of them were made. In excellent condition they value around $2000. In good condition with some wear and bluing loss they value around $750.
I believe that current made rifles are made in the state of Maine.
