Many wiper blades on a 1998 Grand Voyager are held in by a clip. Push the clip towards the arm, and then push the blade back. When the wiper blade is free from the hook, disconnect it from the arm by pushing the wiper down the arm a few inches. It will be free and easy to remove. Now remove the old wiper, and prepare the new wiper. Aim the hook towards the new wiper, it will go over the top. Push the blade towards the end of the arm, until it clicks. Once it clicks, it is in the correct position.
Check the Owners Manual (see below), or take your van to a place that installs them for free. Have the person show you how to do while they install your new ones - you'll be ready for the next time.
Wiper arms or blades? There is a difference. I suggest you go to Autozone. They are more than happy to replace them for you for free. That's what I do.
Alot of that depends on the type of bracket that is on the arm of the wiper. Most have a hook that when you push the blade towards it it will slide right of and you do the oppisite to put the new one on. If your still not sure most places that you buy the new blades from like autozone and advanced auto parts will install them for you for free.
1. Crank up your defrosters and let them heat the windshield. Gently wiggle them back and forth until they come loose. Do not turn on the wipers until they are free. Scrape windshield thoroughly after they are freed. 2. You can dump HOT water back and forth accross the wiper blades and wiggle them (but note you may be causing more ice problems later) 3. If you accidentally damaged your wiper blades, the 2003 Chevrolet Venture takes 24" replacement wiper blades on both sides front (and a 16" wiper blade on the rear).
Autozone and most reputable shops offer free installation on parts like these. IF you bought the part there. If you haven't bought the replacement blades yet, try one of these parts stores. If you have already purchased them, sometimes they will install simple parts for you, just to try to win your business next time.
