The VW Beetle does not have clutch fluid. There is not any fluid associated with the clutch. The transmission has transmission fluid.

Open the drivers door. The lever is next to the opening of the door by your left foot.
Open the driver's side door, it will be on the side of the dashboard, under a cover. Open with a screw driver.
The fuel pump coming on. Most cars prime the pump when you turn the key on, but VW does it when you open the door.
Start the car with the trunk (hatchback) and driver's door open. The alarm will be deactivated. I don't know how to turn it back on.
Open the driver's door and look about middle ways down on the side panel. You will see the fuse panel door about 4" x 4" in size. Use a screw driver to pry open the door.

To find the fuse box for the 2003 VW Beetle, open the driver's side front door. The fuse box is located on this side of the vehicle on the lower dash panel closest to the hinge for the door. There is a small, U-shaped cover that opens to reveal the fuse box.
