If your car has a distributor:

You probably got water inside the distributor cap. It may help to remove the cap and dry it. If you see any green stuff in there, the cap and rotor have corroded. You should replace the cap and rotor. To prevent this happening again, you should also replace the distributor cap gasket.

When a body has constant velocity, the acceleration is zero. This is because acceleration is the rate at which velocity changes, so if velocity is constant, there is no change and hence no acceleration.

How does pumping increase a skater and acceleration?

Pumping involves using body movements to generate momentum and transfer kinetic energy to the skateboard. By shifting weight and applying pressure, skaters can effectively push themselves forward and gain speed. This technique helps skaters accelerate without having to rely solely on pushing with their feet.

Does a particle moving in a straight line have acceleration?

A particle moving in a straight line may or may not have acceleration. Acceleration is adifferent phenomenon altogether. the rate of change of velocity is acceleration, a particle can move in a straight line with a constant velocity thus having no acceleration & it can also move with increasing or decreasing velocities thereby accelerating or deaccelerating.
